After my daughters and I were involved in a harrowing hi-jacking, we battled with chronic post-traumatic stress (PTSD). We sought many forms of professional help yet nothing seemed to work on a holistic level. I was especially concerned for my youngest child who would suffer panic attacks triggered by travelling in the car.
TRE® helped us to regain our emotional well-being and eventually the triggers subsided. The very real and measurable recovery with TRE® and the return to our family’s happy and carefree mindset is why I decided to become a TRE® Provider. To, in turn, help other people calm their nervous systems and release all types of trauma, tension and every day stress. I believe every single one of us needs this in our tool kit given the fast paced lives we lead and the daily stresses we accumulate.

What happens in a TRE® session?
The TRE®exercises are designed to activate muscle groups from the ankle upward to the centre of gravity of the body, which is protected by the psoas muscles. When shaking is evoked in these powerful core muscles, it slowly but surely pulsates throughout the entire body travelling along the spine, releasing deep chronic tension.
When tension is released anywhere in the body, the brain registers a reduction in stress signals and lowers the output of stress hormones.
During a session, we create a safe environment where the body can release its stored tension. The exercises stress and stretch each muscle group from the ankles to the waist, getting the sympathetic nervous fired up. However we stop at a pain / fatigue threshold of 7/10 (before your sympathetic nervous system goes into overdrive/ overwhelm), we put you in a safe space and then this allows your body to just release. These exercises prime your body for a more effective release.
